Ils imagin\u00e8rent ainsi une fa\u00e7on d\u2019\u00e9crire les nombres. Le titre de l\u2019\u0153uvre prend alors son sens, <em>Chinacci 25 <\/em>\u00e9tant une contraction de Chinois-Fibonacci, 25 premiers termes. Apr\u00e8s cette premi\u00e8re analyse, on peut se demander ce que signifient les diff\u00e9rences de couleurs, entre jaune et bleu. Pour le voir, il faut r\u00e9aliser que les b\u00e2tons de l\u2019\u0153uvre sont d\u00e9coup\u00e9s au laser dans une t\u00f4le d\u2019acier, qui cache une bo\u00eete lumineuse. C\u2019est le fond de cette bo\u00eete qui est peinte selon plusieurs bandes verticales dont les largeurs suivent \u00e9galement la suite de Fibonacci\u00a0: une bande de largeur X en jaune, une deuxi\u00e8me bande de largeur X en bleu fonc\u00e9, une bande de largeur 2X en jaune orang\u00e9, une quatri\u00e8me bande de largeur 3X en bleu clair. La barre qui suit signifie alors probablement 5. On peut ainsi d\u00e9crypter les nombres suivants. Il s\u2019agit en fait de l\u2019\u00e9criture des nombres qu\u2019utilisaient les Mayas, en base vingt. Les unit\u00e9s, les vingtaines, etc. s\u2019empilent de bas en haut.
