Il s&#8217;agit d&#8217;un champ de dunes (en sable basaltique, d&#8217;o\u00f9 la couleur noire) qui migre avec le vent pour se d\u00e9verser dans des &#8220;puits&#8221; en p\u00e9riph\u00e9rie du plateau central. Le tout prend l&#8217;allure d&#8217;une limace ou d&#8217;une amibe g\u00e9ante qui engloutit le paysage.
