Il s\u2019agit de l\u2019\u00e9quinoxe, moment o\u00f9 le Soleil traverse le plan \u00e9quatorial terrestre.<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>Le changement de saison n\u2019a rien d\u2019arbitraire ; il est dict\u00e9 par le mouvement apparent du <a href=\"https:\/\/blogs.futura-sciences.com\/feldmann\/2017\/11\/25\/carbondale-deux-eclipses-totales-de-soleil-7-ans\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">Soleil<\/a>. Au cours de l\u2019\u00e9quinoxe notre \u00e9toile coupe l\u2019\u00e9quateur c\u00e9leste (qui n\u2019est que la projection sur la vo\u00fbte c\u00e9leste de notre \u00e9quateur terrestre). Le Soleil atteindra sa d\u00e9clinaison la plus basse le 21 d\u00e9cembre prochain : ce sera le solstice qui marquera le d\u00e9but de l\u2019hiver dans l\u2019h\u00e9misph\u00e8re nord.<\/p>\n<p>Ce 23 septembre, comme le 20 mars prochain, la dur\u00e9e du jour sera \u00e9gale \u00e0 la dur\u00e9e de la nuit, une \u00e9galit\u00e9 \u00e0 l\u2019origine du mot \u00e9quinoxe, du latin <em>\u00e6quus<\/em> (\u00e9gal) et <em>nox<\/em>, <em>noctis<\/em> (nuit).
