La station <em>Insight<\/em> est accompagn\u00e9e par deux Cubesat, MarCO A et B, qui assureront la transmission des donn\u00e9es t\u00e9l\u00e9m\u00e9triques de la station pendant sa travers\u00e9e de l&#8217;atmosph\u00e8re martienne.<\/p>\n<p><a href=\"https:\/\/blogs.futura-sciences.com\/feldmann\/wp-content\/uploads\/sites\/9\/2018\/05\/marco.jpg\" rel=\"lightbox[9241]\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"alignnone size-medium wp-image-9242\" src=\"https:\/\/blogs.futura-sciences.com\/feldmann\/wp-content\/uploads\/sites\/9\/2018\/05\/marco-450x253.jpg\" alt=\"\" width=\"450\" height=\"253\" srcset=\"https:\/\/blogs.futura-sciences.com\/feldmann\/wp-content\/uploads\/sites\/9\/2018\/05\/marco-450x253.jpg 450w, https:\/\/blogs.futura-sciences.com\/feldmann\/wp-content\/uploads\/sites\/9\/2018\/05\/marco-768x432.jpg 768w, https:\/\/blogs.futura-sciences.com\/feldmann\/wp-content\/uploads\/sites\/9\/2018\/05\/marco-1024x577.jpg 1024w, https:\/\/blogs.futura-sciences.com\/feldmann\/wp-content\/uploads\/sites\/9\/2018\/05\/marco.jpg 1151w\" sizes=\"auto, (max-width: 450px) 100vw, 450px\" \/><\/a><\/p>\n<p>Le 9 mai, \u00e0 1 million de kilom\u00e8tres de la Terre, les ing\u00e9nieurs de la <a href=\"https:\/\/www.jpl.nasa.gov\/news\/news.php?feature=7124\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">NASA<\/a> ont r\u00e9alis\u00e9 une image \u00e0 l&#8217;aide de la\u00a0cam\u00e9ra <em>fisheye<\/em> de MarCO-B pour s&#8217;assurer que l&#8217;antenne \u00e0 gain \u00e9lev\u00e9 plac\u00e9e \u00e0 bord de ce Cubesat s&#8217;\u00e9tait bien d\u00e9ploy\u00e9e. Op\u00e9ration r\u00e9ussie, avec en prime une image du couple Terre-Lune.\u00a0<!--more--><\/p>\n<p>C&#8217;est la premi\u00e8re fois qu&#8217;un Cubesat s&#8217;\u00e9loigne aussi loin de nous. Ces petits satellites ne d\u00e9passent en effet jamais l&#8217;orbite terrestre. Bien qu&#8217;ils aient \u00e9t\u00e9 d\u00e9velopp\u00e9s depuis une vingtaine d&#8217;ann\u00e9es pour permettre aux universit\u00e9s de placer en orbite leurs propres engins spatiaux \u00e0 moindre co\u00fbt, les Cubesat sont devenus une technologie commerciale majeure fournissant des donn\u00e9es dans de nombreux domaines, depuis les routes maritimes jusqu&#8217;aux changements environnementaux.<\/p>\n<p>L&#8217;image obtenue le 9 mai par MarCO-B nous rappelle <a href=\"https:\/\/www.lespritsorcier.org\/labo-blogs\/pale-blue-dot-carl-sagan\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\"><em>Pale Blue Dot<\/em><\/a>, une c\u00e9l\u00e8bre photographie r\u00e9alis\u00e9e le 14 f\u00e9vrier 1990 par la sonde Voyager 1 montrant la Terre comme un point bleu p\u00e2le, qui faisait dire \u00e0 <a href=\"https:\/\/blogs.futura-sciences.com\/feldmann\/2016\/11\/14\/anniversaire-hommage-astronome-carl-sagan\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">Carl Sagan<\/a> :\u00a0\u00ab <em>Regardez encore ce petit point.
