Cette galaxie spirale est la plus proche de la Voie lact\u00e9e (2,55 millions d&#8217;ann\u00e9es-lumi\u00e8re). Sous un ciel noir, M 31 est visible sans instrument comme une petite tache laiteuse allong\u00e9e.<\/p>\n<p>Dans la mythologie grecque Androm\u00e8de \u00e9tait une superbe princesse, fille de Cassiop\u00e9e et femme de Pers\u00e9e.
