Astronomes professionnels, amateurs ou simples citoyens scientifiques, chacun peut d\u00e9sormais s&#8217;associer et participer aux grands programmes de recherche, gr\u00e2ce d&#8217;une part au d\u00e9veloppement d&#8217;internet et d&#8217;autre part aux performances de plus en plus \u00e9lev\u00e9es des produits vendus au public, que ce soit dans le domaine de l&#8217;informatique, de l&#8217;observation du ciel ou encore de l&#8217;imagerie.<\/p>\n\n<!-- iframe plugin v.5.1 wordpress.org\/plugins\/iframe\/ -->\n<iframe loading=\"lazy\" width=\"560\" height=\"315\" src=\"https:\/\/www.youtube.com\/embed\/YZc1Y662jtk\" frameborder=\"0\" 0=\"allowfullscreen&gt;&lt;\/iframe\" scrolling=\"yes\" class=\"iframe-class\"><\/iframe>\n\n<p>La mission <a href=\"https:\/\/www.nasa.gov\/mission_pages\/juno\/main\/index.html\" target=\"_blank\">Juno<\/a>, une sonde am\u00e9ricaine actuellement en orbite autour de Jupiter, offre sans doute le plus bel exemple de cette coop\u00e9ration.<!--more--><\/p>\n<p>En mai 2016, l&#8217;astronome amateur fran\u00e7ais <a href=\"http:\/\/www.astrosurf.com\/delcroix\/\" target=\"_blank\">Marc Delcroix<\/a> avait organis\u00e9 \u00e0 l&#8217;<a href=\"https:\/\/blogs.futura-sciences.com\/feldmann\/2015\/11\/20\/la-grande-lunette-de-lobservatoire-de-nice\/\" target=\"_blank\">Observatoire de Nice<\/a> un atelier r\u00e9unissant une vingtaine d\u2019astronomes amateurs de toute l\u2019Europe et une dizaine de professionnels dans le cadre du programme de la commission europ\u00e9enne \u00ab\u00a0<a href=\"http:\/\/www.horizon2020.gouv.fr\/\" target=\"_blank\">Horizon 2020\u00a0<\/a>\u00bb et du projet \u00ab\u00a0<a href=\"http:\/\/www.europlanet-2020-ri.eu\/\" target=\"_blank\"><em>Europlanet 2020 Research Infrastructure<\/em><\/a>\u00a0\u00bb. Objectif de ce rassemblement : coordonner les observations des amateurs et des professionnels avec celles fournies par\u00a0la sonde Juno\u00a0 qui s&#8217;est satellis\u00e9e le 4 juillet 2016\u00a0sur une orbite polaire tr\u00e8s excentrique (sa distance \u00e0 Jupiter variant de 5.000 \u00e0 2,8 millions de kilom\u00e8tres) pour \u00e9tudier pendant au moins un an la m\u00e9t\u00e9orologie de la plus grosse plan\u00e8te du Syst\u00e8me solaire.<\/p>\n<p>La qualit\u00e9 des images fournies par les astronomes amateurs, qui observent le ciel quand ils le veulent, sans les contraintes que connaissent les observatoires professionnels, est une nouvelle fois v\u00e9rifi\u00e9e dans cette animation de <a href=\"https:\/\/vimeo.com\/user13915628\" target=\"_blank\">Peter Rosen<\/a>, un vid\u00e9aste su\u00e9dois qui a rassembl\u00e9 plus d&#8217;un millier d&#8217;images de Jupiter r\u00e9alis\u00e9es par 91 astronomes amateurs du monde entier entre d\u00e9cembre 2014 et mars 2015.<\/p>\n<p>Saluons le travail de Peter Rosen et de ses associ\u00e9s Christoffer Svenske et Johan Warell : il leur a fallu plus d&#8217;un an pour r\u00e9aliser la projection cylindrique de chaque image et en harmoniser les couleurs avant de les assembler en un total de 107 mosa\u00efques.
