C&#8217;est la constellation du Bouvier. Dans la mythologie grecque le Bouvier \u00e9tait un laboureur qui conduisait les sept b\u0153ufs de <a href=\"https:\/\/blogs.futura-sciences.com\/feldmann\/2015\/10\/07\/la-grande-ourse-et-la-cabotte-sous-la-lune\/\" target=\"_blank\">la constellation de la Grande Ourse<\/a>, les faisant tourner autour de l&#8217;<a href=\"https:\/\/blogs.futura-sciences.com\/feldmann\/2015\/03\/31\/astuce-comment-reperer-la-celebre-etoile-polaire\/\" target=\"_blank\">\u00e9toile polaire<\/a> pendant la nuit.<\/p>\n<p><a href=\"https:\/\/blogs.futura-sciences.com\/feldmann\/wp-content\/uploads\/sites\/9\/2016\/07\/bouvier.jpg\" rel=\"lightbox[6030]\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"alignnone size-medium wp-image-6031\" src=\"https:\/\/blogs.futura-sciences.com\/feldmann\/wp-content\/uploads\/sites\/9\/2016\/07\/bouvier-450x299.jpg\" alt=\"bouvier\" width=\"450\" height=\"299\" srcset=\"https:\/\/blogs.futura-sciences.com\/feldmann\/wp-content\/uploads\/sites\/9\/2016\/07\/bouvier-450x299.jpg 450w, https:\/\/blogs.futura-sciences.com\/feldmann\/wp-content\/uploads\/sites\/9\/2016\/07\/bouvier-768x511.jpg 768w, https:\/\/blogs.futura-sciences.com\/feldmann\/wp-content\/uploads\/sites\/9\/2016\/07\/bouvier-1024x681.jpg 1024w, https:\/\/blogs.futura-sciences.com\/feldmann\/wp-content\/uploads\/sites\/9\/2016\/07\/bouvier.jpg 1353w\" sizes=\"auto, (max-width: 450px) 100vw, 450px\" \/><\/a><\/p>\n<p>Au troisi\u00e8me si\u00e8cle avant J.-C., le po\u00e8te grec Aratos de Soles r\u00e9digea un long po\u00e8me astronomique intitul\u00e9 <em>Les Ph\u00e9nom\u00e8nes<\/em>. Voici ce qu&#8217;il \u00e9crivit \u00e0 propos de la constellation d&#8217;Arcturus : &#8220;<em>Derri\u00e8re H\u00e9lik\u00e9, comme s&#8217;il la poussait devant lui, marche le Gardien de l&#8217;Ourse, que les hommes appellent aussi le Bouvier, parce qu&#8217;il semble toucher de son aiguillon l&#8217;Ourse-Chariot. Il \u00e9clate tout entier d&#8217;une vive lumi\u00e8re et, sous sa ceinture, tourne l&#8217;\u00e9toile Arcturus elle-m\u00eame, brillante entre toutes&#8221;.<\/em><!--more--><\/p>\n<p>Situ\u00e9e \u00e0 trente-sept ann\u00e9es-lumi\u00e8re, Arcturus est une \u00e9toile rouge de magnitude z\u00e9ro vingt fois plus grosse que le <a href=\"https:\/\/blogs.futura-sciences.com\/feldmann\/2015\/08\/15\/dans-la-mer-le-soleil-est-encore-plus-beau\/\" target=\"_blank\">Soleil<\/a>.
