atmosph\u00e8re de jour comme de nuit.<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>Les astronomes le savent bien : l&#8217;atmosph\u00e8re terrestre est un filtre dont les propri\u00e9t\u00e9s (densit\u00e9, temp\u00e9rature, pr\u00e9sence de gouttelettes ou de cristaux de glace&#8230;) changent r\u00e9guli\u00e8rement, ce qui est \u00e0 l&#8217;origine de nombreux photom\u00e9t\u00e9ores (du grec <em>ph\u00f4t\u03ccs<\/em> \u00ab lumi\u00e8re \u00bb et <em>mete\u00f4ros<\/em> \u00ab dans les airs \u00bb).\u00a0Voici donc une liste non exhaustive des ph\u00e9nom\u00e8nes lumineux que l&#8217;on peut observer dans le ciel.<\/p>\n<p>Il faut distinguer\u00a0les photom\u00e9t\u00e9ores produits par la r\u00e9flexion de la lumi\u00e8re solaire sur des objets (passage de la Station spatiale internationale et flash Iridium), les ph\u00e9nom\u00e8nes optiques qui apparaissent dans l&#8217;atmosph\u00e8re quand la lumi\u00e8re solaire ou lunaire y subit une modification (r\u00e9flexion, r\u00e9fraction, diffraction, interf\u00e9rences&#8230;) et les ph\u00e9nom\u00e8nes de combustion, ionisation et de chimiluminescence (aurores bor\u00e9ales, \u00e9toiles filantes et
