C&#8217;est\u00a0\u00e9galement l&#8217;une des \u00e9toiles les plus proches de la Terre puisqu&#8217;elle se situe \u00e0 seulement 11,4 ann\u00e9es-lumi\u00e8re. Procyon est en r\u00e9alit\u00e9 une \u00e9toile double (une naine blanche de faible luminosit\u00e9, Procyon B, orbite autour de l&#8217;astre principal, Procyon A).<\/p>\n<p><!--more-->B\u00e9telgeuse (<em>Alpha Orionis<\/em>) est la neuvi\u00e8me plus brillante \u00e9toile du ciel. Elle marque la position de l&#8217;\u00e9paule gauche du chasseur <a href=\"https:\/\/blogs.futura-sciences.com\/feldmann\/2015\/11\/27\/orion-un-vaniteux-chasseur-au-milieu-des-etoiles\/\" target=\"_blank\">Orion<\/a>. En \u00e9tudiant des images prises par le t\u00e9lescope spatial Herschel, les scientifiques pensent que cette superg\u00e9ante rouge (la plus proche de la Terre) entrera en collision dans 5.000 ans avec un myst\u00e9rieux mur de poussi\u00e8re qui pourrait mat\u00e9rialiser la bordure d&#8217;un nuage interstellaire.<\/p>\n<p><a href=\"https:\/\/blogs.futura-sciences.com\/feldmann\/2015\/04\/11\/sirius-brille-au-dessus-du-monastere-grec-de-giromeri\/\" target=\"_blank\">Sirius <\/a>(<em>Alpha Canis Majoris<\/em>) est la plus brillante \u00e9toile du ciel apr\u00e8s le <a href=\"https:\/\/blogs.futura-sciences.com\/feldmann\/2015\/05\/11\/un-avion-de-ligne-passe-devant-le-soleil-tache\/\" target=\"_blank\">Soleil<\/a>.\u00a0Situ\u00e9e\u00a0\u00e0 seulement 8,6 ann\u00e9es-lumi\u00e8re du Soleil, Sirius est anim\u00e9e d&#8217;un mouvement propre important qui la fait se diriger vers notre \u00e9toile \u00e0 la vitesse de 7,6 km\/s.
