Peu apr\u00e8s 9h du matin (heure locale de la r\u00e9gion de Tcheliabinsk en Russie), une m\u00e9t\u00e9orite de 19 m\u00e8tres de diam\u00e8tre p\u00e9n\u00e8tre dans la haute atmosph\u00e8re \u00e0 une vitesse de 20 km\/s. Elle s&#8217;\u00e9chauffe tr\u00e8s fortement et se brise une premi\u00e8re fois en 11 morceaux \u00e0 une altitude de 40 km. L&#8217;onde de choc de cette formidable explosion d\u00e9gage une \u00e9nergie \u00e9quivalente \u00e0 35 fois celle de la bombe atomique d\u2019<a href=\"http:\/\/www.futura-sciences.com\/magazines\/espace\/infos\/actu\/d\/astronomie-asteroides-26-hiroshima-ont-frappe-terre-depuis-2000-53466\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">Hiroshima<\/a>. Ahmetvaleev<\/figcaption><\/figure>\n<p>De nombreuses personnes sont bless\u00e9es par les \u00e9clats de verre, ceux situ\u00e9s \u00e0 la verticale de l&#8217;explosion sont plaqu\u00e9s au sol. Pendant un instant, la m\u00e9t\u00e9orite devient 30 fois plus lumineuse que le <a href=\"https:\/\/blogs.futura-sciences.com\/feldmann\/2015\/08\/15\/dans-la-mer-le-soleil-est-encore-plus-beau\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">Soleil<\/a>.<!--more--><\/p>\n<h5>Chasse au tr\u00e9sor :<\/h5>\n<p>Les morceaux poursuivent leur chute \u00e0 une vitesse beaucoup moins rapide, de l&#8217;ordre de 1.500 km\/h. \u00c0 moins de 30 km d\u2019altitude, survient une seconde fragmentation. Elle donne naissance \u00e0 une vingtaine de morceaux. D\u2019une dizaine de tonnes chacun, la plus grande partie finit heureusement par se d\u00e9sint\u00e9grer. Les fragments ont \u00e9t\u00e9 ramass\u00e9s entre les villages d\u2019Aleksandrovka et Timiryazevsky.<\/p>\n<h5>Analyse des fragments :<\/h5>\n<p>Les scientifiques ont r\u00e9colt\u00e9 de nombreux \u00e9chantillons de la m\u00e9t\u00e9orite autour du lac Tchebarkoul. Des plongeurs ont m\u00eame remont\u00e9 un fragment de 650 kg le 16 octobre 2013. Les analyses isotopiques nous permettent de reconstituer l&#8217;histoire de cette m\u00e9t\u00e9orite. Il suit une nouvelle trajectoire qui va le conduire \u00e0 rencontrer la Terre le 15 f\u00e9vrier 2013.<\/p>\n<h5>Un pr\u00e9c\u00e9dent en Russie :<\/h5>\n<p>La m\u00e9t\u00e9orite de Tcheliabinsk vient nous rappeler que nous ne sommes pas \u00e0 l&#8217;abri d&#8217;une mauvaise rencontre. Souvenons-nous de la <a href=\"http:\/\/www.futura-sciences.com\/magazines\/espace\/infos\/actu\/d\/comete-mystere-explosion-toungouska-enfin-perce-47436\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">catastrophe de la Toungouska<\/a>. Le 30 juin 1908, un petit ast\u00e9ro\u00efde de 100 m\u00e8tres de diam\u00e8tre se d\u00e9sint\u00e9grait au-dessus de la for\u00eat sib\u00e9rienne.
