On en recense aujourd&#8217;hui plus de 2000, une qu\u00eate qui motive de nombreux chercheurs et mobilise d&#8217;importants moyens.<\/p>\n\n<!-- iframe plugin v.5.1 wordpress.org\/plugins\/iframe\/ -->\n<iframe loading=\"lazy\" frameborder=\"0\" width=\"480\" height=\"270\" src=\"\/\/www.dailymotion.com\/embed\/video\/x2ce9bm\" 0=\"allowfullscreen\" scrolling=\"yes\" class=\"iframe-class\"><\/iframe>\n\n<p style=\"text-align: center\"><strong>En vid\u00e9o : qu\u2019est-ce qu\u2019une exoplan\u00e8te ?<\/strong><\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: left\">L&#8217;une des m\u00e9thodes de d\u00e9tection des exoplan\u00e8tes est celle des transits. D&#8217;autre part un transit est d\u2019autant plus rare que la p\u00e9riode de r\u00e9volution de cette exoplan\u00e8te est importante.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: left\"><!--more-->C&#8217;est pour cette raison qu&#8217;il est n\u00e9cessaire d&#8217;observer simultan\u00e9ment un grand nombre d\u2019\u00e9toiles pour esp\u00e9rer surprendre le transit d&#8217;une exoplan\u00e8te.<\/p>\n<p>L&#8217;ESO a mis en service un nouveau r\u00e9seau de petits t\u00e9lescopes charg\u00e9s de d\u00e9tecter les transits exoplan\u00e9taires. <a href=\"http:\/\/www.ngtransits.org\/\" target=\"_blank\">NGTS<\/a> (<em>Next-Generation Transit Survey<\/em>) est constitu\u00e9 de\u00a012 t\u00e9lescopes de 20 cm de diam\u00e8tre automatis\u00e9s install\u00e9s \u00e0 l&#8217;Observatoire du Paranal au Chili \u00e0 proximit\u00e9 du <a href=\"https:\/\/blogs.futura-sciences.com\/feldmann\/2015\/10\/28\/en-video-le-centre-galactique-passe-au-zenith-du-vlt\/\" target=\"_blank\">VLT<\/a>.
