Faite \u00e0 l&#8217;occasion de la <em>Ninth Cambridge Workshop on Cool Stars, Stellar Systems and the Sun\u00a0<\/em>qui se tenait \u00e0 Florence (Italie), l&#8217;annonce fit l&#8217;effet d&#8217;une bombe. La courbe obtenue r\u00e9v\u00e9la des fluctuations r\u00e9guli\u00e8res d&#8217;une p\u00e9riode l\u00e9g\u00e8rement sup\u00e9rieure \u00e0 4 jours. Ces fluctuations sont produites par un objet dont la masse \u00e9tait \u00e9quivalente \u00e0 la moiti\u00e9 de celle de <a href=\"https:\/\/blogs.futura-sciences.com\/feldmann\/2020\/09\/23\/la-sonde-juno-immortalise-lombre-de-io-sur-jupiter\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer\">Jupiter<\/a> et qui fut baptis\u00e9 <em>51 Pegasi b<\/em>.<\/p>\n<p><a href=\"https:\/\/blogs.futura-sciences.com\/feldmann\/wp-content\/uploads\/sites\/9\/2014\/05\/ohp2.jpg\" rel=\"lightbox[3830]\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"alignnone size-medium wp-image-379\" src=\"https:\/\/blogs.futura-sciences.com\/feldmann\/wp-content\/uploads\/sites\/9\/2014\/05\/ohp2-450x337.jpg\" alt=\"ohp2\" width=\"450\" height=\"337\" srcset=\"https:\/\/blogs.futura-sciences.com\/feldmann\/wp-content\/uploads\/sites\/9\/2014\/05\/ohp2-450x337.jpg 450w, https:\/\/blogs.futura-sciences.com\/feldmann\/wp-content\/uploads\/sites\/9\/2014\/05\/ohp2-1024x768.jpg 1024w, https:\/\/blogs.futura-sciences.com\/feldmann\/wp-content\/uploads\/sites\/9\/2014\/05\/ohp2.jpg 1200w\" sizes=\"auto, (max-width: 450px) 100vw, 450px\" \/><\/a><\/p>\n<p>Aujourd&#8217;hui les astronomes ont recens\u00e9 plusieurs milliers de plan\u00e8tes extrasolaires. Leurs recherches se concentrent sur celles qui orbitent autour d&#8217;\u00e9toiles jeunes et proches de la Terre comme <a href=\"https:\/\/www.futura-sciences.com\/sciences\/actualites\/formation-planetes-balbutiements-exoplanete-observes-premiere-fois-60031\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer\"><em>AU Microscopii<\/em><\/a>. Avec <a href=\"https:\/\/www.futura-sciences.com\/sciences\/actualites\/exoplanete-m51-uls-1b-premiere-exoplanete-decouverte-autre-galaxie-26169\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer\">M51-ULS-1b<\/a>, on a peut-\u00eatre m\u00eame d\u00e9couvert la premi\u00e8re exoplan\u00e8te dans une autre galaxie.<\/p>\n<h5>\u00c0 savoir :<\/h5>\n<ul>\n<li>La transparence du ciel de Haute-Provence semble avoir attir\u00e9 les astronomes depuis longtemps. En 1605 un pr\u00e9cepteur belge nomm\u00e9 Wendelin y aurait cr\u00e9\u00e9 le premier site d\u2019observation au-dessus du village de Lardiers. L\u2019Observatoire de Haute-Provence (\u00e0 quelques kilom\u00e8tres de\u00a0<a href=\"https:\/\/blogs.futura-sciences.com\/feldmann\/2019\/06\/04\/la-vieille-lune-et-la-chapelle-notre-dame-de-provence\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer\">Forcalquier<\/a>) est le seul observatoire en activit\u00e9 dont on peut visiter les installations. Plus performant, il est destin\u00e9 \u00e0 d\u00e9tecter des exoplan\u00e8tes dont la taille se rapprocherait de celle de la Terre. Derni\u00e8rement, une \u00e9quipe internationale a d\u00e9couvert \u00e0 l\u2019aide de cet instrument une super-Terre. D\u2019une masse trois fois sup\u00e9rieure \u00e0 notre plan\u00e8te,\u00a0<a href=\"http:\/\/www.obs-hp.fr\/presse\/Communique_GJ411.html\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer\">GJ411b<\/a> tourne en 13 jours autour d\u2019une \u00e9toile situ\u00e9e \u00e0 8 ann\u00e9es-lumi\u00e8re.
