La synth\u00e8se par interf\u00e9rom\u00e9trie des informations re\u00e7ues par ces antennes est destin\u00e9e \u00e0 \u00e9tudier les r\u00e9gions les plus recul\u00e9es de l&#8217;Univers.<\/p>\n<p><!--more-->Bien que seulement 7 des 12 antennes soient actuellement op\u00e9rationnelles, les chercheurs de l&#8217;IRAM les ont point\u00e9es vers NGC 4194, la galaxie de la M\u00e9duse. NGC 4194 est en r\u00e9alit\u00e9 le r\u00e9sultat de la fusion entre deux galaxies \u00e0 plus de 100 millions d&#8217;ann\u00e9es-lumi\u00e8re dans la <a href=\"https:\/\/blogs.futura-sciences.com\/feldmann\/2014\/10\/10\/constellation-grande-ourse\/\" target=\"_blank\">constellation de la Grande Ourse<\/a>.<\/p>\n<p>En d\u00e9tectant les mol\u00e9cules de cyanure d&#8217;hydrog\u00e8ne et de formylium, les antennes de NOEMA ont r\u00e9v\u00e9l\u00e9 l&#8217;existence d&#8217;une pouponni\u00e8re d&#8217;\u00e9toiles gigantesque s&#8217;\u00e9tendant sur plus de 500 ann\u00e9es-lumi\u00e8re. Comme le raconte Sabine Koenig de l&#8217;IRAM, les astronomes ont eu alors la surprise de voir cette r\u00e9gion c\u00e9leste s&#8217;illuminer d&#8217;un coup et briller de la lumi\u00e8re des milliers d&#8217;\u00e9toiles form\u00e9es r\u00e9cemment.
