On peut ainsi mieux appr\u00e9cier les variations de l&#8217;inclinaison des anneaux.<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>Les <a href=\"https:\/\/blogs.futura-sciences.com\/feldmann\/2014\/12\/08\/saturne-dans-lombre-des-anneaux\/\" target=\"_blank\">anneaux de Saturne<\/a> ont \u00e9t\u00e9 observ\u00e9s pour la premi\u00e8re fois par Galil\u00e9e, mais c&#8217;est 45 ans plus tard, en 1655, que l&#8217;astronome hollandais Christian Huygens a compris leur v\u00e9ritable nature. Constitu\u00e9s d&#8217;innombrables particules de glace et de poussi\u00e8re, les anneaux ont une \u00e9paisseur de moins de 1 km et s&#8217;\u00e9tendent jusqu&#8217;\u00e0 300 000 km de <a href=\"https:\/\/blogs.futura-sciences.com\/feldmann\/2015\/02\/09\/autour-de-saturne-des-anneaux-et-des-lunes\/\" target=\"_blank\">Saturne<\/a>.<\/p>\n<p><a href=\"https:\/\/blogs.futura-sciences.com\/feldmann\/wp-content\/uploads\/sites\/9\/2015\/06\/saturne1.jpg\" rel=\"lightbox[3020]\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"alignnone size-medium wp-image-3021\" src=\"https:\/\/blogs.futura-sciences.com\/feldmann\/wp-content\/uploads\/sites\/9\/2015\/06\/saturne1-450x309.jpg\" alt=\"saturne\" width=\"450\" height=\"309\" srcset=\"https:\/\/blogs.futura-sciences.com\/feldmann\/wp-content\/uploads\/sites\/9\/2015\/06\/saturne1-450x309.jpg 450w, https:\/\/blogs.futura-sciences.com\/feldmann\/wp-content\/uploads\/sites\/9\/2015\/06\/saturne1-1024x704.jpg 1024w, https:\/\/blogs.futura-sciences.com\/feldmann\/wp-content\/uploads\/sites\/9\/2015\/06\/saturne1.jpg 1309w\" sizes=\"auto, (max-width: 450px) 100vw, 450px\" \/><\/a><\/p>\n<p>Il faut presque 30 ans \u00e0 <a href=\"https:\/\/blogs.futura-sciences.com\/feldmann\/2015\/05\/23\/la-planete-saturne-est-au-plus-pres-de-la-terre\/\" target=\"_blank\">Saturne <\/a>pour r\u00e9aliser une orbite autour du <a href=\"https:\/\/blogs.futura-sciences.com\/feldmann\/2015\/05\/11\/un-avion-de-ligne-passe-devant-le-soleil-tache\/\" target=\"_blank\">Soleil\u00a0<\/a>; vus de notre observatoire mobile (la Terre), les anneaux nous apparaissent sous un angle variable.<\/p>\n<p><!--more-->Nous d\u00e9couvrons alternativement l&#8217;h\u00e9misph\u00e8re nord pendant 15 ans et 9 mois (c&#8217;est le cas actuellement) puis l&#8217;h\u00e9misph\u00e8re sud\u00a0pendant 13 ans et 8 mois ( l&#8217;excentricit\u00e9 de l&#8217;orbite de Saturne explique la diff\u00e9rence de dur\u00e9e).<\/p>\n<p>Le montage photographique de <a href=\"http:\/\/www.damianpeach.com\/\" target=\"_blank\">Damian Peach<\/a> d\u00e9bute en haut \u00e0 gauche en 2004 et s&#8217;ach\u00e8ve en bas \u00e0 droite en 2015. En 2004 la face sud des anneaux est parfaitement visible, le maximum d&#8217;ouverture s&#8217;\u00e9tant produit l&#8217;ann\u00e9e pr\u00e9c\u00e9dente. L&#8217;inclinaison des anneaux n&#8217;a cess\u00e9 de diminuer jusqu&#8217;au mois de septembre 2009, p\u00e9riode pendant laquelle on voyait les anneaux par la tranche. Ensuite l&#8217;inclinaison des anneaux a repris dans l&#8217;autre sens, nous d\u00e9voilant leur face nord.
