Avec des \u00e2ges compris entre 10 et 14 milliards d\u2019ann\u00e9es, ils font office de fossiles des <a href=\"https:\/\/fr.wikipedia.org\/wiki\/Galaxie\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">galaxies\u00a0<\/a>dont ils occupent la p\u00e9riph\u00e9rie. On en compte environ 200 en orbite autour de notre\u00a0<a href=\"https:\/\/fr.wikipedia.org\/wiki\/Voie_lact%C3%A9e\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">Voie lact\u00e9e<\/a>. Le plus c\u00e9l\u00e8bre d\u2019entre eux est\u00a0<a href=\"https:\/\/blogs.futura-sciences.com\/feldmann\/2019\/08\/02\/ciel-dete-admirez-messier-13-le-grand-amas-dhercule\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">Messier 13<\/a>, visible dans la modeste <a href=\"https:\/\/fr.wikipedia.org\/wiki\/Hercule_(constellation)\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">constellation d\u2019Hercule<\/a>, \u00e0 l\u2019ouest du\u00a0<a href=\"https:\/\/blogs.futura-sciences.com\/feldmann\/2016\/09\/13\/triangle-dete-spectacle-a-admirer-zenith\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer\">Triangle d\u2019\u00e9t\u00e9<\/a>. Cet amas, d\u00e9couvert par <a href=\"https:\/\/fr.wikipedia.org\/wiki\/James_Dunlop\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">James Dunlop<\/a> en 1826, se situe \u00e0 environ 28.000 <a href=\"https:\/\/fr.wikipedia.org\/wiki\/Ann%C3%A9e-lumi%C3%A8re\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">ann\u00e9es-lumi\u00e8re<\/a>. De <a href=\"https:\/\/blogs.futura-sciences.com\/feldmann\/2017\/05\/06\/quest-lechelle-magnitudes-astronomie\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">magnitude<\/a> 7, il a un diam\u00e8tre apparent de 10 minutes d&#8217;arc, le tiers de la <a href=\"https:\/\/blogs.futura-sciences.com\/feldmann\/2026\/01\/03\/premiere-pleine-lune-de-lannee-2026\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">Pleine Lune<\/a>. Pour r\u00e9aliser <a href=\"https:\/\/www.adamblockphotos.com\/ngc-6723.html?\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">cette image<\/a>, Adam Block a pos\u00e9 plus d&#8217;une heure avec un t\u00e9lescope de 60 centim\u00e8tres de diam\u00e8tre.
