L&#8217;astre chevelu d\u00e9couvert le 12 ao\u00fbt par l\u2019astronome amateur japonais Hideo Nishimura fonce en direction du <a href=\"https:\/\/blogs.futura-sciences.com\/feldmann\/2023\/08\/25\/insolite-mirage-solaire-et-rayon-vert\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">Soleil<\/a>. Visible en fin de nuit sur l&#8217;horizon Est actuellement avec une <a href=\"https:\/\/blogs.futura-sciences.com\/feldmann\/2017\/05\/06\/quest-lechelle-magnitudes-astronomie\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">magnitude<\/a> de 6,3, cette com\u00e8te met les astronomes face \u00e0 un dilemme. S&#8217;ils veulent la voir dans un ciel noir il faut la pointer lorsqu&#8217;elle se l\u00e8ve, mais l&#8217;atmosph\u00e8re plus \u00e9paisse \u00e0 l&#8217;horizon fait chuter son \u00e9clat. S&#8217;ils attendent qu&#8217;elle soit plus haute, c&#8217;est l&#8217;arriv\u00e9e de l&#8217;aube qui l&#8217;efface. Et constater \u00e0 cette occasion que la queue de plasma subissait les assauts du vent solaire.<\/p>\n<p><!--more--><\/p>\n<h5>Une question de polarit\u00e9 :<\/h5>\n<p>Comment expliquer les perturbations visibles dans la queue de gaz (image ci-dessous) ? Tout commence autour du <a href=\"https:\/\/blogs.futura-sciences.com\/feldmann\/2023\/01\/16\/lactivite-solaire-beaucoup-plus-intense-que-prevu\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">Soleil<\/a>\u00a0dont le champ magn\u00e9tique, g\u00e9n\u00e9r\u00e9 par les mouvements internes du plasma, est emport\u00e9 par le vent solaire. Il traverse le Syst\u00e8me solaire sous le nom de champ magn\u00e9tique interplan\u00e9taire ou CMI. Lorsqu\u2019une com\u00e8te traverse le\u00a0<a href=\"https:\/\/www.aeronomie.be\/fr\/encyclopedie\/comete-gaz-cometaire-formation-queue-plasma\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">feuillet h\u00e9liosph\u00e9rique<\/a>, une r\u00e9gion o\u00f9 le CMI s\u2019inverse, son ancienne queue de plasma se d\u00e9tache. Une nouvelle queue se forme imm\u00e9diatement, de m\u00eame polarit\u00e9 que le nouveau secteur magn\u00e9tique rencontr\u00e9. Ce ph\u00e9nom\u00e8ne (toujours suivi d\u2019une reconnexion) a \u00e9t\u00e9 photographi\u00e9 pour la premi\u00e8re fois en 2007 sur la com\u00e8te\u00a0<a href=\"https:\/\/www.futura-sciences.com\/sciences\/actualites\/astronomie-video-eruption-solaire-sectionne-queue-comete-13067\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">Encke<\/a>.
