Quelques minutes seulement de Soleil noir, et uniquement si le ciel est d\u00e9gag\u00e9. Le futur avion de ligne, qui volait depuis 1969, achevait alors son programme d&#8217;essai. Les mois qui pr\u00e9c\u00e9d\u00e8rent l&#8217;\u00e9clipse furent mis \u00e0 profit pour pr\u00e9parer au mieux l&#8217;exp\u00e9dition. Il fut convenu que le d\u00e9collage aurait lieu depuis les Canaries. L&#8217;avion irait ensuite se poser \u00e0 N\u2019Djamena, la capitale du Tchad.<\/p>\n<h5>Pr\u00e9paration scientifique :<\/h5>\n<p>L&#8217;\u00e9clipse se produisant lorsque le Soleil \u00e9tait quasiment au z\u00e9nith, il fallut installer des hublots sur le toit de l&#8217;avion. Pierre L\u00e9na proposa \u00e0 d&#8217;autres chercheurs de rejoindre le projet. Les autorit\u00e9s du pays avaient ferm\u00e9 leur espace a\u00e9rien depuis minuit pour faciliter ce vol hors normes. Les chercheurs purent observer l&#8217;\u00e9clipse totale pendant 74 minutes, une dur\u00e9e qui n&#8217;a encore jamais \u00e9t\u00e9 \u00e9gal\u00e9e. Cette incroyable exp\u00e9dition a surtout permis d&#8217;en apprendre un peu plus sur la fronti\u00e8re entre la <a href=\"https:\/\/www.futura-sciences.com\/sciences\/definitions\/univers-chromosphere-3734\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">chromosph\u00e8re<\/a> (la basse atmosph\u00e8re du Soleil) et la <a href=\"https:\/\/www.futura-sciences.com\/sciences\/actualites\/soleil-mystere-couronne-solaire-elucide-observations-inedites-79489\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">couronne solaire<\/a> qui s&#8217;\u00e9tend au-del\u00e0. Laissons \u00e0 Pierre L\u00e9na le mot de la fin : \u00ab <em>Je ne sais pas si ce genre d&#8217;aventure serait possible aujourd&#8217;hui. D\u00e9sormais, tout est plus rigide, plus hi\u00e9rarchis\u00e9.
