Pourtant, cette apparente immuabilit\u00e9 est parfois troubl\u00e9e par une explosion stellaire. Les astronomes parlent alors de supernova. Mais une explosion stellaire laisse des traces sur lesquelles on peut se pencher.<!--more--><\/p>\n<h5>R\u00e9sidus br\u00fblants :<\/h5>\n<p>Cette<a href=\"https:\/\/esahubble.org\/images\/potw2248a\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\"> image r\u00e9alis\u00e9e par le t\u00e9lescope spatial Hubble<\/a> nous d\u00e9voile LMC N49. Ce r\u00e9manent de supernova (SNR pour S<em>uperNova Remnant<\/em>) se situe \u00e0 160.000 <a href=\"https:\/\/www.futura-sciences.com\/sciences\/definitions\/univers-annee-lumiere-17\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">ann\u00e9es-lumi\u00e8re<\/a> dans le <a href=\"https:\/\/www.futura-sciences.com\/sciences\/actualites\/astronomie-etoile-neutrons-supernova-1987-aurait-bien-ete-retrouvee-alma-78568\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">Grand Nuage de Magellan<\/a>. L&#8217;\u00e9toile massive mourante a d&#8217;abord \u00e9ject\u00e9 du gaz. Puis elle a explos\u00e9, g\u00e9n\u00e9rant une onde de choc qui se d\u00e9place au milieu du gaz \u00e0 une vitesse comprise entre 100 et 300 kilom\u00e8tres\/seconde.
