Ce label r\u00e9compense des r\u00e9gions dans lesquelles ont \u00e9t\u00e9 prises des mesures afin de minimiser la <a href=\"https:\/\/www.futura-sciences.com\/sciences\/questions-reponses\/espace-quest-ce-pollution-lumineuse-12\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">pollution lumineuse<\/a>. Cette <strong>R<\/strong>\u00e9serve <strong>I<\/strong>nternationale de <strong>C<\/strong>iel <strong>\u00c9<\/strong>toil\u00e9 est actuellement la plus grande d&#8217;Europe. Autant dire qu&#8217;elle attire de nombreux astronomes en qu\u00eate de beaux ciels \u00e9toil\u00e9s. Ce r\u00e9fracteur \u00e9tait install\u00e9 sur une monture Skywatcher EQ6-R pro sans autoguidage. Et pour les images, l&#8217;astrophotographe \u00e9tait \u00e9quip\u00e9 d&#8217;un bo\u00eetier Nikon D800. L\u2019astronome persan Al Soufi (903-986) est le premier \u00e0 mentionner l\u2019existence de cette petite tache floue, mais il est fort probable qu\u2019on la connaissait d\u00e9j\u00e0 dans l\u2019Antiquit\u00e9. Situ\u00e9e \u00e0 un peu plus de 2,5 millions d\u2019<a href=\"https:\/\/www.futura-sciences.com\/sciences\/definitions\/univers-annee-lumiere-17\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">ann\u00e9es-lumi\u00e8re<\/a> dans la constellation d\u2019Androm\u00e8de, M31 a une longueur apparente qui d\u00e9passe 3 degr\u00e9s, soit 6 fois la taille de la Pleine Lune.
