Avec sa <a href=\"https:\/\/blogs.futura-sciences.com\/feldmann\/2017\/05\/06\/quest-lechelle-magnitudes-astronomie\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">magnitude<\/a> de 7, il est \u00e0 la port\u00e9e d&#8217;un petit <a href=\"https:\/\/blogs.futura-sciences.com\/feldmann\/2023\/01\/11\/peut-on-choisir-son-premier-telescope-sans-se-tromper\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">t\u00e9lescope<\/a>.\u00a0Il doit son nom \u00e0 l&#8217;astronome britannique <a href=\"https:\/\/fr.wikipedia.org\/wiki\/Philibert_Jacques_Melotte\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">Philibert Jacques Melotte<\/a> qui publia en 1915 un catalogue rassemblant 245 amas d&#8217;\u00e9toiles. Les amas d&#8217;\u00e9toiles ouverts (\u00e0 ne pas confondre avec les <a href=\"https:\/\/www.futura-sciences.com\/sciences\/definitions\/univers-amas-globulaire-15\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">amas globulaires<\/a>) regroupent quelques centaines \u00e0 quelques milliers d&#8217;\u00e9toiles n\u00e9es ensemble et li\u00e9es temporairement entre elles par la gravitation. En outre, il s&#8217;est form\u00e9 \u00e0 une \u00e9poque beaucoup plus r\u00e9cente, il y a seulement 1,5 million d&#8217;ann\u00e9es.<!--more--><\/p>\n<h5>C\u0153ur c\u00e9leste :<\/h5>\n<p>Les tr\u00e8s jeunes \u00e9toiles de Melotte 15 soufflent dans l&#8217;espace de puissants vents stellaires. Lorsque les particules \u00e9nerg\u00e9tiques \u00e9mises rencontrent les nuages d&#8217;hydrog\u00e8ne environnants, elles en excitent les atomes qui \u00e9mettent alors une lumi\u00e8re rouge caract\u00e9ristique.
