Mais en accentuant ses subtiles couleurs, nous pouvons retracer son histoire g\u00e9ologique.<\/strong><\/p>\n<h5>Une autre vision de la Lune :<\/h5>\n<p>Quand nous pensons \u00e0 la <a href=\"https:\/\/blogs.futura-sciences.com\/feldmann\/2022\/03\/09\/insolite-des-montagnes-lunaires-brillent-dans-la-nuit\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">Lune<\/a>, c&#8217;est une image en noir et blanc qui nous vient \u00e0 l&#8217;esprit. Pourtant, si nous regardons attentivement un clich\u00e9 de notre satellite naturel, on peut y distinguer de subtiles couleurs. De l\u00e9g\u00e8res nuances de bleu, de orange et de rouge, qui trahissent les diff\u00e9rentes compositions du sol. Le sol lunaire en garde le souvenir, et les couleurs nous le prouvent. Encore faut-il savoir les r\u00e9v\u00e9ler et les interpr\u00e9ter.<\/p>\n<h5>G\u00e9ologie lunaire :<\/h5>\n<p>Depuis les missions <a href=\"https:\/\/www.futura-sciences.com\/sciences\/definitions\/univers-apollo-3743\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">Apollo<\/a>, nous avons d&#8217;assez bonnes connaissances sur l&#8217;histoire de la Lune, n\u00e9e il y a environ 4,55 milliards d&#8217;ann\u00e9es. Diff\u00e9rents \u00e2ges g\u00e9ologiques s&#8217;y sont succ\u00e9d\u00e9s. Du plus ancien au plus jeune, on trouve le Pr\u00e9-Nectarien, le Nectarien (formation de <em>Mare Nectaris<\/em>), l&#8217;Imbrien (<em>Mare Imbrium<\/em>), l&#8217;Eratosth\u00e9nien et le Copernicien. Ces \u00e2ges correspondent \u00e0 des p\u00e9riodes particuli\u00e8res de l&#8217;activit\u00e9 volcanique et m\u00e9t\u00e9oritique. Par exemple, la plupart des mers sont apparues pendant les \u00e2ges Imbrien et Eratosth\u00e9nien, entre 3,8 et 3 milliards d&#8217;ann\u00e9es. Les couleurs r\u00e9v\u00e8lent la composition de la surface. \u00a9 Alain Paillou<\/figcaption><\/figure>\n<p>Les orbiteurs lunaires <a href=\"https:\/\/www.nasa.gov\/mission_pages\/LCROSS\/searchforwater\/clementine.html\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">Clementine<\/a> et <a href=\"https:\/\/www.lroc.asu.edu\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">LROC<\/a> ont r\u00e9alis\u00e9 les premi\u00e8res cartes en couleurs de la Lune. Elles confirment la relation qui existe entre coloration du sol lunaire et type de roches. Le rouge r\u00e9v\u00e8le la pr\u00e9sence d&#8217;oxyde de fer, le bleu de l&#8217;oxyde de titane, le vert de l&#8217;olivine (silicate). Car il ne suffit pas de pousser au maximum la saturation des couleurs pour obtenir une carte g\u00e9ologique.
