Elles trahissent une intense activit\u00e9 magn\u00e9tique. Il semble que la plus ancienne observation av\u00e9r\u00e9e de ces zones sombres soit chinoise et remonte \u00e0 l\u2019an -28. <a href=\"https:\/\/blogs.futura-sciences.com\/feldmann\/2016\/01\/06\/galilee-le-savant-qui-a-ouvert-nos-yeux-sur-lunivers\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer\">Galil\u00e9e<\/a>\u00a0fut le premier \u00e0 les observer en 1612 avec une\u00a0<a href=\"https:\/\/blogs.futura-sciences.com\/feldmann\/2015\/05\/05\/bien-choisir-sa-premiere-lunette-astronomique\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer\">lunette astronomique<\/a>. La p\u00e9riodicit\u00e9 de l\u2019apparition de ces taches fut \u00e9voqu\u00e9e par Heinrich Schwabe en 1848. Puis l&#8217;astronome Rudolph Wolf d\u00e9termina la dur\u00e9e moyenne d\u2019un cycle solaire : environ 11 ans. En hommage \u00e0 ses recherches, on d\u00e9signe d\u00e9sormais par nombre de Wolf l&#8217;activit\u00e9 solaire (nombre cumul\u00e9 de taches et de groupes de taches).<\/p>\n<figure id=\"attachment_14676\" aria-describedby=\"caption-attachment-14676\" style=\"width: 450px\" class=\"wp-caption alignnone\"><a href=\"https:\/\/blogs.futura-sciences.com\/feldmann\/wp-content\/uploads\/sites\/9\/2021\/09\/sol2.jpg\" rel=\"lightbox[14674]\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"size-medium wp-image-14676\" src=\"https:\/\/blogs.futura-sciences.com\/feldmann\/wp-content\/uploads\/sites\/9\/2021\/09\/sol2-450x450.jpg\" alt=\"\" width=\"450\" height=\"450\" srcset=\"https:\/\/blogs.futura-sciences.com\/feldmann\/wp-content\/uploads\/sites\/9\/2021\/09\/sol2-450x450.jpg 450w, https:\/\/blogs.futura-sciences.com\/feldmann\/wp-content\/uploads\/sites\/9\/2021\/09\/sol2-150x150.jpg 150w, https:\/\/blogs.futura-sciences.com\/feldmann\/wp-content\/uploads\/sites\/9\/2021\/09\/sol2-768x768.jpg 768w, https:\/\/blogs.futura-sciences.com\/feldmann\/wp-content\/uploads\/sites\/9\/2021\/09\/sol2.jpg 1000w\" sizes=\"auto, (max-width: 450px) 100vw, 450px\" \/><\/a><figcaption id=\"caption-attachment-14676\" class=\"wp-caption-text\">Le Soleil le 6 septembre 2021 avec quatre groupes de taches \u00e0 sa surface. \u00a9 SDO\/HMI<\/figcaption><\/figure>\n<p>Ces taches sont num\u00e9rot\u00e9es dans l\u2019ordre d\u2019apparition par la\u00a0<a href=\"http:\/\/www.noaa.gov\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer\">NOAA<\/a>, (<em>National Oceanic and Atmospheric Administration<\/em>), le num\u00e9ro \u00e9tant pr\u00e9c\u00e9d\u00e9 par les lettres AR qui signifient\u00a0<em>Active Region<\/em>.<\/p>\n<h5>Nouveau cycle :<\/h5>\n<p>En d\u00e9cembre 2019 les astronomes ont constat\u00e9 que le\u00a0<a href=\"https:\/\/www.futura-sciences.com\/sciences\/breves\/soleil-explosions-magnetiques-inconnues-surface-soleil-1700\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer\">magn\u00e9tisme du Soleil<\/a> avait chang\u00e9 de polarit\u00e9. Une inversion qui annon\u00e7ait le d\u00e9but d\u2019un nouveau cycle solaire, le 25e, dont le maximum est pr\u00e9vu pour 2025. Aujourd&#8217;hui, pas moins de quatre groupes de taches sont observables. Il portent les num\u00e9ros AR 2863, AR 2864, AR 2866 et AR 2868. L&#8217;observation de notre \u00e9toile avec un t\u00e9lescope n\u00e9cessite imp\u00e9rativement l&#8217;adjonction d&#8217;un filtre. Sans cet accessoire, ne pointez jamais le Soleil ! Mais vous pourrez quand m\u00eame suivre sans danger l\u2019\u00e9volution de ces groupes sur la page des satellites solaires <a href=\"http:\/\/sohowww.nascom.nasa.gov\/sunspots\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer\">SOHO\u00a0<\/a>(<em>SOlar and Heliospheric Observatory<\/em>) ou\u00a0<a href=\"http:\/\/sdo.gsfc.nasa.gov\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer\">SDO\u00a0<\/a>(<em>Solar Dynamics Observatory<\/em>).<\/p>\n<p><iframe loading=\"lazy\" title=\"Les cycles du soleil | Futura\" width=\"474\" height=\"267\" src=\"https:\/\/www.youtube.com\/embed\/LnWtlgwFtgk?feature=oembed\" frameborder=\"0\" allow=\"accelerometer; autoplay; clipboard-write; encrypted-media; gyroscope; picture-in-picture; web-share\" referrerpolicy=\"strict-origin-when-cross-origin\" allowfullscreen><\/iframe><\/p>\n<p>Ils devraient rester observables un certain temps.
