Il s&#8217;agit d&#8217;une liste de <a href=\"https:\/\/www.futura-sciences.com\/sciences\/definitions\/univers-nebuleuse-50\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">n\u00e9buleuses en \u00e9mission<\/a> \u00e9tablie par Stewart Sharpless dans les ann\u00e9es 1950. Cet astronome am\u00e9ricain (1926-2013) consacra la plus grande partie de sa carri\u00e8re \u00e0 r\u00e9pertorier les vastes r\u00e9gions d&#8217;hydrog\u00e8ne ionis\u00e9 (H II) qui pars\u00e8ment la <a href=\"https:\/\/blogs.futura-sciences.com\/feldmann\/2018\/08\/26\/en-video-quest-ce-que-la-voie-lactee\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">Voie lact\u00e9e<\/a>. Actuellement, le catalogue Sharpless compte 313 r\u00e9gions H II situ\u00e9es dans le ciel bor\u00e9al. Block\/MLSC\/UA<\/figcaption><\/figure>\n<p>Le catalogue Sharpless compte quelques objets c\u00e9lestes tr\u00e8s c\u00e9l\u00e8bres, comme Sh2-25 (la <a href=\"https:\/\/blogs.futura-sciences.com\/feldmann\/2016\/01\/13\/nebuleuse-de-lagune-pouponniere-detoiles\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">n\u00e9buleuse de la Lagune<\/a>) ou encore Sh2-45 (la <a href=\"https:\/\/blogs.futura-sciences.com\/feldmann\/2015\/10\/15\/en-video-zoom-sur-messier-17-la-nebuleuse-omega\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">n\u00e9buleuse Om\u00e9ga<\/a>). <!--more--><\/p>\n<h5>Une \u00e9toile diabolique pour des ailes d&#8217;ange :<\/h5>\n<p>Sh2-106 se situe \u00e0 environ 2.000 ann\u00e9es-lumi\u00e8re dans le\u00a0Cygne. Cette constellation est surtout visible en p\u00e9riode estivale. Sa principale \u00e9toile, Deneb, marque l&#8217;une des pointes du <a href=\"https:\/\/blogs.futura-sciences.com\/feldmann\/2020\/07\/24\/en-video-partez-a-la-decouverte-du-triangle-dete\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">Triangle d&#8217;\u00e9t\u00e9<\/a>. Travers\u00e9e par la Voie lact\u00e9e, la constellation du Cygne cache de d\u00e9licates <a href=\"https:\/\/blogs.futura-sciences.com\/feldmann\/2016\/08\/29\/dentelles-constellation-cygne\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">Dentelles<\/a>. Comme c&#8217;est le cas pour toutes les n\u00e9buleuses, seule la photographie peut r\u00e9v\u00e9ler la beaut\u00e9 de Sh2-106. Cach\u00e9e au centre de la n\u00e9buleuse, une jeune \u00e9toile massive surnomm\u00e9e IRS 4 crache des jets de gaz tr\u00e8s chaud depuis chacun de ses p\u00f4les. Ce sont ces jets qui sont \u00e0 l&#8217;origine des ailes bleut\u00e9es que nous admirons. Une \u00e9tude d\u00e9taill\u00e9e de cette n\u00e9buleuse a en outre r\u00e9v\u00e9l\u00e9 la pr\u00e9sence de plus de 600 naines brunes.
