Situ\u00e9e \u00e0 130 millions d&#8217;ann\u00e9es-lumi\u00e8re, cette spirale de <a href=\"https:\/\/blogs.futura-sciences.com\/feldmann\/2017\/05\/06\/quest-lechelle-magnitudes-astronomie\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">magnitude<\/a> 10,6 a \u00e9t\u00e9 d\u00e9couverte en 1785 par <a href=\"https:\/\/blogs.futura-sciences.com\/feldmann\/2014\/05\/12\/telescope-william-herschel\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">William Herschel<\/a>. Ce fut le cas en 1972, 1997, 2006 et 2008. Rappelons qu&#8217;une supernova est l&#8217;explosion cataclysmique d&#8217;une \u00e9toile. Pendant plusieurs semaines, l&#8217;astre se met alors \u00e0 briller aussi fort que les milliards d&#8217;\u00e9toiles qui composent la galaxie !<\/p>\n<h5>Deux supernovae en trois mois :<\/h5>\n<p>En 2021, NGC 3147 a d\u00e9j\u00e0 produit deux supernovae. On peut suivre l&#8217;actualit\u00e9 concernant ces deux supernovae sur la page que leur consacre la <a href=\"https:\/\/www.rochesterastronomy.org\/sn2021\/sn2021hpr.html\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\"><em>Rochester Academy of Science<\/em><\/a>.<\/p>\n<h5>Phare galactique :<\/h5>\n<p>Si <strong>SN 2021do<\/strong> est d\u00e9sormais plus faible que la magnitude 18, la supernova <strong>SN 2021hpr<\/strong> continue d&#8217;augmenter d&#8217;\u00e9clat. Au moment de la r\u00e9daction de cet article, sa magnitude est de 14, ce qui la rend spectaculaire. Sur le clich\u00e9 du <a href=\"https:\/\/www.gemini.edu\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\"><em>Gemini Astronomical Observatory<\/em><\/a> ci-dessus, la supernova brille \u00e0 130 millions d\u2019ann\u00e9es-lumi\u00e8re autant que les autres \u00e9toiles pr\u00e9sentes dans le champ. Ces derni\u00e8res sont pourtant beaucoup plus proches puisqu&#8217;elles font partie de notre <a href=\"https:\/\/blogs.futura-sciences.com\/feldmann\/2018\/08\/26\/en-video-quest-ce-que-la-voie-lactee\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">Voie lact\u00e9e<\/a>.
