Cette rotation explique pourquoi nous voyons le\u00a0<a href=\"https:\/\/blogs.futura-sciences.com\/feldmann\/2017\/04\/27\/un-soleil-omega-se-leve-sur-la-mer-mediterranee\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer\">Soleil<\/a>\u00a0et la\u00a0<a href=\"https:\/\/blogs.futura-sciences.com\/feldmann\/2019\/07\/03\/comment-realiser-un-dessin-de-la-surface-de-la-lune\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer\">Lune<\/a> se lever \u00e0 l\u2019EST et se coucher \u00e0 l\u2019OUEST environ 12 heures plus tard. Il faut imaginer l\u2019axe imaginaire de rotation de la Terre qui se prolonge en direction des p\u00f4les c\u00e9lestes nord et sud.<!--more--><\/p>\n<h5>D&#8217;un p\u00f4le c\u00e9leste \u00e0 l&#8217;autre :<\/h5>\n<p>Si le p\u00f4le nord c\u00e9leste est marqu\u00e9 par une \u00e9toile, la <a href=\"https:\/\/blogs.futura-sciences.com\/feldmann\/2015\/03\/31\/astuce-comment-reperer-la-celebre-etoile-polaire\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer\">Polaire<\/a>, le p\u00f4le sud c\u00e9leste n&#8217;a pas cette chance. Il faut utiliser la minuscule constellation de la <a href=\"https:\/\/blogs.futura-sciences.com\/feldmann\/2016\/02\/05\/zoom-sur-la-croix-du-sud-la-plus-petite-des-constellations\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer\">Croix du Sud<\/a> pour tenter de localiser ce point imaginaire. Une autre approche consiste \u00e0 effectuer de longues poses photographiques et \u00e0 les additionner avec un logiciel. Le r\u00e9sultat r\u00e9v\u00e8le un tourbillon d&#8217;\u00e9toiles (on parle aussi de <a href=\"https:\/\/blogs.futura-sciences.com\/feldmann\/2016\/10\/05\/rotation-detoiles-dessus-chateau-de-brochon\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer\">rotation d&#8217;\u00e9toiles<\/a>) centr\u00e9 sur le p\u00f4le c\u00e9leste. C&#8217;est un faisceau laser destin\u00e9 \u00e0 cr\u00e9er une \u00e9toile-guide artificielle \u00e0 90 kilom\u00e8tres d\u2019altitude au milieu des \u00e9toiles. Pour contrer les m\u00e9faits de la turbulence atmosph\u00e9rique, les astronomes professionnels ont d\u00e9velopp\u00e9 l\u2019optique adaptative. Le principe consiste \u00e0 analyser les d\u00e9formations subies par la lumi\u00e8re de cette \u00e9toile-guide et \u00e0 corriger ces d\u00e9formations en modifiant tr\u00e8s rapidement et tr\u00e8s fr\u00e9quemment la surface du miroir du t\u00e9lescope.
