Inouye nous offre de stup\u00e9fiantes images de la surface de notre \u00e9toile.<\/strong><\/p>\n<h5>Le plus grand t\u00e9lescope solaire :<\/h5>\n<p>Le <em>Advanced Technology Solar Telescope<\/em> (ATST) se trouve sur l&#8217;\u00eele hawa\u00efenne de Maui. Construit \u00e0 3.000 m\u00e8tres d&#8217;altitude au sommet du volcan Haleakal\u0101, il pourrait bien r\u00e9volutionner l&#8217;astronomie solaire. Cet instrument est dot\u00e9 d&#8217;un miroir primaire de 4,24 m\u00e8tres de diam\u00e8tre. Il porte \u00e9galement le nom de Daniel Ken Inouye (1924-2012). Ce dernier fut s\u00e9nateur de l&#8217;\u00c9tat d&#8217;Hawa\u00ef au Congr\u00e8s des \u00c9tats-Unis de 1963 \u00e0 sa mort. Le t\u00e9lescope a \u00e9t\u00e9 con\u00e7u pour fournir des images d&#8217;une r\u00e9solution deux fois plus \u00e9lev\u00e9e que ses pr\u00e9d\u00e9cesseurs.<\/p>\n<p><iframe loading=\"lazy\" title=\"NSF Inouye Solar Telescope First Light Image Animated (Small Field of View)\" width=\"474\" height=\"267\" src=\"https:\/\/www.youtube.com\/embed\/4nieF-e0OOs?feature=oembed\" frameborder=\"0\" allow=\"accelerometer; autoplay; clipboard-write; encrypted-media; gyroscope; picture-in-picture; web-share\" referrerpolicy=\"strict-origin-when-cross-origin\" allowfullscreen><\/iframe><\/p>\n<p>Pour y parvenir les ing\u00e9nieurs l&#8217;ont dot\u00e9 d&#8217;une optique adaptative. Elle permet au miroir de garder exactement la m\u00eame forme avec une pr\u00e9cision de l&#8217;ordre du micron. Gr\u00e2ce \u00e0 l&#8217;emploi de 142 v\u00e9rins hydrauliques le miroir ne se d\u00e9forme pas quelle que soit son orientation ou sa temp\u00e9rature .<!--more--><\/p>\n<h5>Un Soleil en \u00e9bullition :<\/h5>\n<p>Le <a href=\"https:\/\/blogs.futura-sciences.com\/feldmann\/2017\/02\/06\/le-soleil-se-couche-sur-le-desert-datacama\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer\">Soleil<\/a> est une gigantesque boule de gaz de 1,4 million de kilom\u00e8tres de diam\u00e8tre (110 fois la taille de la Terre). Sa masse est d\u2019environ 330.000 fois celle de notre plan\u00e8te. Chaque seconde il convertit 4 millions de tonnes d&#8217;hydrog\u00e8ne en rayonnement. Nous ne pouvons observer que sa couche ext\u00e9rieure. On y voit le mouvement des cellules convectives avec une r\u00e9solution encore jamais atteinte. Les plus petites structures sont de l&#8217;ordre de 30 kilom\u00e8tres. Ces premiers clich\u00e9s ont \u00e9t\u00e9 r\u00e9alis\u00e9s pendant la phase de r\u00e9glage et de calibration de l&#8217;instrument. La NSO a tenu \u00e0 pr\u00e9ciser qu&#8217;ils ne sont pas diffus\u00e9s \u00e0 des fins scientifiques.
