Objectif : tenter de mieux comprendre le r\u00f4le de l&#8217;\u00e9nergie noire.<\/strong><\/p>\n<h5>\u00c0 la recherche de l&#8217;\u00e9nergie noire :<\/h5>\n<p>Avec DESI (<em>Dark Energy Spectroscopic Instrument<\/em>), les astronomes sont sur le point de se lancer dans leur plus ambitieux projet de cartographie du ciel. Au cours des cinq prochaines ann\u00e9es ils vont \u00e9tudier 35 millions de <a href=\"https:\/\/blogs.futura-sciences.com\/feldmann\/2018\/01\/22\/arp-243-beau-resultat-de-deux-galaxies-collision\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer\">galaxies<\/a> jusqu&#8217;\u00e0 11 milliards d&#8217;ann\u00e9es-lumi\u00e8re. Leur objectif : tenter de mieux cerner la nature de <a href=\"https:\/\/www.futura-sciences.com\/sciences\/actualites\/cosmologie-energie-noire-variable-solution-enigme-expansion-univers-76596\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer\">l&#8217;\u00e9nergie noire<\/a> (ou sombre). Cette force \u00e9nigmatique a \u00e9t\u00e9 imagin\u00e9e pour tenter d&#8217;expliquer un curieux ph\u00e9nom\u00e8ne d\u00e9couvert il y a une vingtaine d&#8217;ann\u00e9es.<\/p>\n<p><iframe loading=\"lazy\" title=\"Qu&#039;est ce que l&#039;e\u0301nergie sombre? par Jean-Pierre Luminet\" width=\"474\" height=\"267\" src=\"https:\/\/www.youtube.com\/embed\/ADyQXOsCqMQ?feature=oembed\" frameborder=\"0\" allow=\"accelerometer; autoplay; clipboard-write; encrypted-media; gyroscope; picture-in-picture; web-share\" referrerpolicy=\"strict-origin-when-cross-origin\" allowfullscreen><\/iframe><\/p>\n<p>Alors que la gravitation (qui est attractive) devrait freiner l&#8217;expansion de l&#8217;Univers, on observe au contraire que cette expansion acc\u00e9l\u00e8re \u00e0 un rythme toujours plus rapide.<\/p>\n<p><!--more--><\/p>\n<h5>DESI, une prouesse technologique :<\/h5>\n<p>DESI se compose de dix spectrographes capables d&#8217;analyser simultan\u00e9ment la lumi\u00e8re \u00e9mise par cinq mille objets c\u00e9lestes (galaxies, <a href=\"https:\/\/www.futura-sciences.com\/sciences\/actualites\/astronomie-record-hubble-decouvre-quasar-brillant-comme-600000-milliards-soleils-43162\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer\">quasars<\/a>&#8230;). Cela est rendu possible gr\u00e2ce \u00e0 l&#8217;utilisation de cinq mille robots. Ils sont capables de positionner avec une tr\u00e8s grande pr\u00e9cision autant de fibres optiques en direction des astres \u00e0 \u00e9tudier. Ce spectrographe multi-objets charg\u00e9 de traquer l&#8217;\u00e9nergie noire devrait entrer en service en janvier 2020. \u00a9 Marilyn Chung\/Lawrence Berkeley National Laboratory<\/figcaption><\/figure>\n<h5>Premi\u00e8re lumi\u00e8re en septembre :<\/h5>\n<p>DESI est le r\u00e9sultat d&#8217;\u2019une collaboration franco-am\u00e9ricaine\u00a0entre l\u2019entreprise d\u2019optique <a href=\"http:\/\/www.winlight-system.com\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer\">Winlight System<\/a> install\u00e9e dans le Vaucluse, l\u2019<a href=\"http:\/\/irfu.cea.fr\/Phocea\/Vie_des_labos\/Ast\/ast.php?t=fait_marquant&amp;id_ast=3870\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer\">IRFU<\/a>, les laboratoires du CNRS de la r\u00e9gion de Marseille et le <a href=\"https:\/\/www.lbl.gov\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer\">Berkeley Lab<\/a> aux Etats-Unis. DESI est d\u00e9sormais install\u00e9 au foyer du t\u00e9lescope Mayall de 4 m\u00e8tres de diam\u00e8tre au <a href=\"https:\/\/www.noao.edu\/kpno\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer\"><em>Kitt Peak National Observatory<\/em><\/a> en Arizona.
