Partons \u00e0 la d\u00e9couverte du site d&#8217;Apollo 11.<\/strong><\/p>\n<h5>Cinquante ans d\u00e9j\u00e0 :<\/h5>\n<p>Dans cette douzi\u00e8me chronique d\u00e9di\u00e9e aux paysages lunaires \u00e0 explorer, je vous propose de d\u00e9couvrir le site embl\u00e9matique de la mission Apollo 11. Ce fut la premi\u00e8re \u00e0 avoir d\u00e9pos\u00e9 des hommes sur la Lune en juillet 1969, mission dont nous f\u00eatons cette ann\u00e9e le cinquantenaire (<a href=\"https:\/\/blogs.futura-sciences.com\/feldmann\/2018\/12\/31\/on-the-moon-again-en-2019-regardez-la-lune\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer\"><em>On The Moon Again<\/em><\/a>). Armez-vous d&#8217;une <a href=\"https:\/\/blogs.futura-sciences.com\/feldmann\/2017\/10\/30\/ciel-aux-jumelles-guide-decouvrir-ciel-nocturne\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer\">paire de jumelles<\/a> bien cal\u00e9e ou mieux encore d\u2019une <a href=\"https:\/\/blogs.futura-sciences.com\/feldmann\/2017\/12\/10\/longue-vue-bon-choix-debuter-astronomie\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer\">longue-vue<\/a>, d\u2019une\u00a0<a href=\"https:\/\/blogs.futura-sciences.com\/feldmann\/2015\/05\/05\/bien-choisir-sa-premiere-lunette-astronomique\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer\">lunette astronomique<\/a>\u00a0ou d\u2019un petit\u00a0<a href=\"https:\/\/blogs.futura-sciences.com\/feldmann\/2016\/08\/26\/video-telescopes-hommes\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer\">t\u00e9lescope<\/a>\u00a0qui en r\u00e9v\u00e9leront toute la richesse.<!--more--><\/p>\n<h5>Une plaine de lave :<\/h5>\n<p><a href=\"http:\/\/astroblog-77470.webnode.fr\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer\">Alain Brodin<\/a> est l&#8217;auteur de l&#8217;image ci-dessous qui va nous servir de guide pour d\u00e9couvrir cette r\u00e9gion lunaire. La Mer de la Tranquillit\u00e9 correspond \u00e0 un bassin d&#8217;impact. Il s&#8217;est form\u00e9 dans la prime jeunesse de la Lune il y a plus de 4 milliards d&#8217;ann\u00e9es et a ensuite \u00e9t\u00e9 combl\u00e9 par de la lave. Dirigez-vous ensuite \u00e0 l&#8217;EST le long d&#8217;une p\u00e9ninsule assez d\u00e9chiquet\u00e9e \u00e0 l&#8217;image du crat\u00e8re Hypatia. Arr\u00eatez-vous sur le petit crat\u00e8re Moltke (6,5 kilom\u00e8tres de diam\u00e8tre), qui a la particularit\u00e9 d&#8217;\u00eatre entour\u00e9 d&#8217;un d\u00e9p\u00f4t l\u00e9g\u00e8rement plus clair. C&#8217;est le seul relief qui permet de localiser la zone o\u00f9 s&#8217;est pos\u00e9 le module <em>Eagle<\/em> le 21 juillet 1969.<\/p>\n<h5>3 crat\u00e8res pour 3 astronautes :<\/h5>\n<p>Je vous invite, si vous en avez l&#8217;occasion, \u00e0 observer cette zone dans un puissant t\u00e9lescope une nuit o\u00f9 la turbulence atmosph\u00e9rique est faible. Vous pourrez d\u00e9couvrir les minuscules crat\u00e8res (moins de 5 kilom\u00e8tres de diam\u00e8tre) Aldrin, Collins et Armstrong nomm\u00e9s en l&#8217;honneur des trois astronautes de cette c\u00e9l\u00e8bre mission.
