Nature Communications, 9, 326, 2018\u00a0:<\/p>\n<p><a href=\"https:\/\/www.nature.com\/articles\/s41467-017-02274-w\">https:\/\/www.nature.com\/articles\/s41467-017-02274-w<\/a><\/p>\n<p><!--more--><\/p>\n<p>Les auteurs ont \u00e9chantillonn\u00e9 les produits des \u00e9ruptions de l\u2019Etna, entre 1974 et 2014. Ils s\u2019int\u00e9ressent \u00e0 un type de cristal\u00a0: les pyrox\u00e8nes. Ceux-ci sont zon\u00e9s c\u2019est-\u00e0-dire qu\u2019ils sont form\u00e9s de couronnes de croissance concentriques de composition chimique variable (notamment en chrome, nickel, scandium). Les pyrox\u00e8nes pr\u00e9sentent un couronne riche en chrome (large de 53 microns et cristallis\u00e9e en 6 jours) t\u00e9moin d\u2019une r\u00e9alimentation magmatique (m\u00e9lange de magma = \u00ab\u00a0magma mixing\u00a0\u00bb dans la chambre magmatique) peu de temps avant l\u2019\u00e9ruption. Cette couronne est elle-m\u00eame entour\u00e9e d\u2019une bordure pauvre en chrome (large de 63 microns et cristallis\u00e9e en 7 jours) correspondant \u00e0 la phase de mont\u00e9e du magma dans la chemin\u00e9e du volcan. Cette mont\u00e9e s\u2019effectuerait \u00e0 une vitesse comprise entre 60 et 600 m\u00e8tres\/heure.<\/p>\n<p>Guillaume Rizza m\u2019a demand\u00e9, dans son article, mon avis de volcanologue :<\/p>\n<p>\u00ab Cet article prometteur permet de mieux comprendre le comportement du magma depuis le r\u00e9servoir jusqu\u2019\u00e0 l\u2019\u00e9ruption en surface.
